Video evening held coincidently in the early days after the WTC attack. Some thought it was inappropriate; some thought it was someone else pictured on the poster....
The video presentation was a huge success.
Where needed the room was darkened with black plastic sheets used on strawberry fields.
With a dimmer brought from home an atmosphere was created like in the cinemas. There were stands with material about Islam. Addresses of people interested to come to more such events were collected.
A small sample news letter, announcing upcoming events, was launched.

Intercepted missionary poster (edited)
The original text of the poster reads "We do not all start with the same opportunities". The picture shows the hands of a new born with his name tag ("Abdel") used as hand cuffs.
This poster carries the signature and bank account of Caritas Catholica International. The poster was found in the cafeteria next to a mosque. Muslims were demanded to spread it all over town. After deliberation it was revealed it actually was an poster intended to make Muslims feel unsatisfied being born as Muslims. After making a picture of the poster it was removed and the material destroyed. The added text contains this story telling how missionaries try to engage Muslims to spend their time and efforts in a way that is actually working against Islam.

Ma'tam mourning salon
Muslims opened a room in their house for a couple of hours a day during the invasion of Iraq so people could pass by to mourn, have a cup of tea, pick up a poster or flyer, kids could make a drawing, people could leave a note or poem or read and talk about Islam.
This initiative brought people of nearly all walks of life together in their support for the populations in Iraq.

Poster making
This brother putted glue on the back of 4 printed pages forming the image for a post sign sticked on a piece of hard board.
A major part of the preparation of the march consisted of what material we were going to use, what slogans we were going to bring forward. Besides the necessary permits to keep a march we also obtained a loudspeaker. None of the Unions or 'progressive organizations' wanted to borrow us one. Actually they actively, openly and secretly, boycotted the march.

Risky business...
In Belgium brothers have been sent to jail for comparing Zionism with Nazism...
These posters were composed of 4 printed pages glued together. It might be a good idea to use a laser printer or to put a plastic cover over the design. Printed material from an inkjet printer can't stand very well the rain.

Banner making
After the characters had been drawn on the canvas with a pencil they are colored with paint.
The communists did not want to teach us how to make 'more professionally looking' banners so we did it, with the help of Allah, our way and it was the message of Islam that went out!

Day trip
Young Muslims visit a war graveyard in Flanders' fields.
Many Muslims got killed there during World War I. Some were lured into the war as an act of resistance against the corrupted Ottoman Empire that had taken the side of Germany. Others were drafted by forced by the colonial powers in need of more blood.
All graves are fake. The tombstones were placed after the war. Most corpses were buried where now the huge crucifix stands on the graveyard. Many corpses were never found. May Allah forgive their sins, protect their families and may we never again make the mistakes of the past.

Museum visit
While the King of Belgium, Leopold II, massacred 6 to 10 million people on his rubber plantations in "Congo Vrijstaat", his private property, he managed to call it a war against the Arab slave trade.
Few Turks nowadays know their ancestors and their allies fought the missionaries in dark Africa.
